Energy Certificates Explained


Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) are a tradable commodity, established by the Australian Federal Government under the Rewable Energy Target scheme in 2000, to encourage the investment in renewable energy technology by home owners, businesses and Australia's energy producers.

Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs)


Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs)


Victorian Energy Efficiency certificates (VEEC's)
